Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Wyllie collects, why, how we protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to our website and subscription service.

Last updated: 2026-07-12. Governing law: England and Wales.

01Data controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is ALLAN WYLLIE CONSULTING LIMITED, operating the Wyllie service, with a registered office at 8 Pine Grove, Ladybank, Cupar, Fife, Scotland, KY15 7NL. You can reach us at support@allwylcon.shop or +44 7359436582 for any privacy question or request.

02Personal data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address and authentication details.
  • Preparation content: the target role, background, experiences, questions and notes you enter to generate answers, materials and practice reels.
  • Career materials you create: CV, cover letter, portfolio, LinkedIn and skills content, which may contain contact details and work history.
  • Support and enquiry data: messages you send through our contact and readiness-check forms.
  • Billing metadata: subscription plan, status and billing period. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: device, browser type, IP address and basic usage events needed to run and secure the service.

03Where the data comes from

  • Directly from you, when you register, enter preparation details, create materials, subscribe, or contact us.
  • Automatically from your device, through essential cookies and standard server logs when you use the site.
  • From our payment processor, which confirms subscription status back to us after a transaction.

04Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To provide the service — generate answers, materials and practice reels you request (performance of a contract).
  • To manage your account and subscription, including billing and renewals (performance of a contract).
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide support (legitimate interests, or steps before a contract).
  • To secure, maintain and improve the service and prevent abuse (legitimate interests).
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
  • Where required, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

05Payments — processor boundary

Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are handled by Stripe as processor; Wylliedoes not receive or store your full card number, CVC or full card expiry. We receive only the confirmation and metadata needed to activate and manage your subscription. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy terms.

06Account, subscription and support data

We keep a record of your account, your active plan and billing period, and the support or enquiry messages you send us, so we can operate your subscription, reply to you and keep accurate records. Preparation content and the materials you create are stored so you can return to and export them, and can be deleted on request.

07Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We keep any analytics minimal and privacy-respecting, and we do not sell your personal information. See our Cookie Policy for the categories we use and how to control them.

08Third-party processors we rely on

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Our cloud hosting and database providers — to run the application and store your account and content securely.
  • Our AI generation providers — to produce the answers, materials and practice reels you request from the inputs you supply.
  • Email delivery — to send account, billing and support messages.

09International transfers

Some of our processors operate outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where your personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses so that your data remains protected to an equivalent standard.

10How long we keep it

  • Account data: for as long as your account is active, and a short period afterwards.
  • Preparation inputs and uploaded content: minimised by default and cleared from active generation caches after around 30 days unless you keep them in your account.
  • Billing records: retained as required for accounting and tax obligations.
  • Support messages: retained only as long as needed to resolve and record your request.

11How we protect your data

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. Payment card data is isolated with our payment processor. Job-search materials can be sensitive, so we minimise what we collect and let you delete it.

12Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any right, email support@allwylcon.shop. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

13Children and minors

Wyllie is not for children under 13, who may not use the service. Users aged 13 to 17 must have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

14Complaints and contact

For any privacy question or request, contact ALLAN WYLLIE CONSULTING LIMITED at support@allwylcon.shop or +44 7359436582. If you are in the UK or EEA and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
